Disable Instant notifications to every tread i post on!!

hey guys. Every single thread i post on it automatically subscribes me to it. i know i can manually go in and disable it, but is there any way to make it like that by default. so the only notifications i get are the ones i manually subscribe to? So if i were to go post on a new thread that i have never posted on before, nothing will happen and i will not get any notifications unless i want to

Click on "User CP" on the forum toolbar. Click on "Edit Options" Scroll down to 'Messaging & Notification'. You'll see a header labeled "Default Thread Subscription Mode"... set it to 'do not subscribe'.
