Disable update notification

Alright guys, I'm new here. I searched for a way to disable the update notification and nothing popped up. I have my droid rooted and if I press update now the update fails but the notification is still there. If anyone can help me with disabling this, even if its flashing o new rom or kernel, I will be very thankful.

Hello new to the forum. I like using voice text even though its not perfect. However, when I tried to use swype I have found that now I can not use my voice texting. Could someone tell me how to disable swype so I can voice text again? The help would be greatly appreciated.

@sierra I cant help you sorry since Ive never gotten one of the update notifications in the 9 months Ive had my droid and its been rooted since day 3

@gpulley why are you posting something about swype in a topic that has nothing to do with that? please make a new topic and dont try to hijack one.
