Discovery Channel app released

discovery channel just released an app. it's actually from discovery channel also not from a third party developer. says you can watch episodes like dirty jobs, storm chasers, etc. also has videos and photos. so far has 4.5 star rating and comments seem to be promising..

wow, the videos are high quality! gots shows like man vs. wild, myth busters, shark week, deadliest catch to just name a few. has a photo section and newest videos and a latest news section too. Interface looks high quality and not cheap looking..

whoever made this app also made tv.com app imho it looks very similar.

they do look similar but tv.com was made by CBS and discovery channel was made by discovery channel.

Pretty sweet, unfortunately it's only short clips. I love mythbusters but it barely showed anything when I chose a clip. If this had full episodes, or at least complete experiments I'd be much happier.

nice app but you would think they would use the entire viewing area of the screen instead of a little box. Feel like I'm watching some old station on my wide screen tv.
