DiskCacheIndex?????.tmp files on SD card

Can the DiskCacheIndex?????.tmp files on SD card be deleted? What are they used for??

Basic rule of thumb, if you don't know what it is, leave it. If you didn't put it there, an app or the OS did.

In most cases, if an app needs something like this, it will simply create it again after you delete it, but with 16gigs of sd memory, it's better to be safe than sorry.
