Display Suggestions in texts not showing up

Usually when I type a text out with the physical keyboard, there is a suggestion bar under my message with similar words. But for whatever reason, since I turned on Swype, it's disappeared when I go to use the physical keyboard. I've made sure the option is turned on in my settings. I've turned the setting off and on, turned my phone off and on, but still no suggestion bar.

Any help?

EDIT: Update, I turned Swype off and put it back on multi-touch keyboard, and the suggestions came back. However, I like Swype and I like the physical keyboard, isn't there some way to have suggestions on for the keyboard and Swype on for the touch screen?

Bumpity BUMP! Exactly what I was searching for. I know I saw a thread about this at least a year ago, probably 2. Didn't mean anything to me at the time though so I never followed up on it.

Any suggestions guys?
