Dissappearing APPs

Have an unusual problem. APPs dissappear or become non-accessible overnight. The icon may still be there but when you select it, it says it is not installed on the device. Also, lost 6 apps last night...the icons just dissappeared. This happens most everyday. The phone is 4 days old. Any suggestions?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling these apps then check later on if they're still there?

If the problem persists, I recommend a factory reset, hopefully that fixes it.

Which phone? Bionic? If so, go into settings>applications >manage applications> select the disappearing apps and make sure they're not installed in the media area. You will know if there's a button that says move to phone. Thia helped me borrow DROID forums will constantly do the same thing and u have to reload and make sure its not in the media area. Hope thus helps.
