I have finally made the switch. Better late then never right?
I have had a BB storm 1 since its release almost 2 years ago, and it has been a good phone for me. It just doesn't have the support, or apps, that the android phones have, so it was time to make the change.
I was planning to get the incredible, but the back order date keeps getting worse and worse, so I decided to get the droid. Especially since it only costed my $49.99 after the rebate and my upgrade credit from vzw. I know the droid X is coming soon, but I just couldn't pass up the chance to get an android phone for the price i paid.
Let me just say that this phone is far superior to any phone I have ever had. The possibilities seem almost limitless. I have already read about root, wireless tethering, and all of the other great things I can do. (Im an OC guru with pc's so I'd like to try that as well).
I'm looking forward to using this forum, and all the great information in it, to make the most of my new toy.
