Do you backup your Droid?

With my Blackberry came software ("Blackberry Desktop Manager") that I could use to backup the whole device.

Do you guys do this with your Droid phones? If so, how?

I'm not concerned about the contacts, calendar or email because those are synced to my work but what about all the apps you bought, settings, etc.

Yeah... what about those apps you bought?

All of your apps are associated with your Google account so you do not need to worry. If you use Gmail your contacts are backed up and if you use Google calendar the same hold true.

You can back up your SD card.

Ah. I didn't know Google had a hand in keeping my apps but... makes sense now that I remember how I set up my account.

Thanks!

Yep that way if you root or purchase a different phone you do not need to repurchase an app.
