Docking station for the X like the "1"?

I have been using my Droid 1 docking station (sold by Verizon IIRC) for almost a year and I really love it (it does everything I need it to do), but I've not seen one with the same characteristics for the X. Is there one that I just haven't seen yet?

The nice thing about it is that it aligns the micro USB for charging almost like magic! I hate having to jiggle a connector into the side receptacle on either the 1 or the X.

Go to verizon and select the droid x, then accessories and there is a dock listed there.
Should be the same as your other one but for the X.

Just FYI, if you put a case/skin on your X it will NOT fit in the Dock anymore (found this out the hard/expensive way when I bought my X with a case and dock only to find I can not use both at the same time)

did you pull out the liner? The docks have removable liners for DX's that have cases. Not all cases are the same but I figured I would ask

Well I will check into that when I get home but I did not notice it having a liner when I first got it and was trying to get the x to fit with the case on.

Well I will check into that when I get home but I did not notice it having a liner when I first got it and was trying to get the x to fit with the case on.

ya, you will see a seem around the droid shape, you just squeeze the two sides together and pull it out

D, That didn't work for me. I went to the Droid X and selected, it listed the dock I have and said it would only work with the 1 and 2. I never did find a dock that you suggested would be there. I did find the HDMI dock that connect both HDMI and the USB connectors (one reviewer said it was difficult to "undock" because of those two connectors).

Yep, that is the only dock verizon currently makes for the X.
It is like the Droid1/2 dock except it also has the hdmi mini connector port.
On the back you will see a micro usb port (for charging and computer hookup) and a mini hdmi port.
It also has a magnet on the back for switching the X into "dock mode" which I kinda like.

That is the one I have and can not get it to work with my case on the phone.
I will give it a once over when I get home and see if there is some way to adjust it like dB Zac mentioned.

It is actually a good dock (tried it with out the case to see if it worked) but I agree that it is a bit stiff getting it in/out of the dock due to the 2 connectors but that is what it is.
