Documents/Text to/from S4

I searched here all day to only find related threads 3-4 years old on Droid devices.
I now see how limited Kies is with only images - music to add.
There's no option to move documents.

The only work around to a long document was scrolling the document on the computer screen while S4 recorded
It on a video.
Not very stylish capturing flare of screen pixels. But at least I have the data.

I need the best running ware - to create documents plus move them connected to laptop-Mac's
Id rather not deal with PDF's-
There isnt much they do well-
Horrible non format - can't alter default font.
Just simple text notes - embed image to if needed-
Mainly to make copy of instructions of Apps & functions for this phone from this site on what has been the best.
I try to use the memo app that comes with S4- but its too finicky limited to page size, and other editing issues.
Coming from Mac, they also had worthless text memo app for the phone-
Thanks

What exactly do you wish to do? Can your MAC open Word documents? How many documents are involved?

Have you looked at Evernote?

I do have evernote.
Like said prior-copied instructions - on everything S4 from the posts here.

Regardless from what device - computer or phone the data is copied from-
There must be Text document that works & move at will between them.

Looks like evernote is the do all-
Where links work as well.

Making links altered text like in this post option to make it say anything-vs 5 lines long.

From the searching here earlier -
These apps came up for Adroid-
On threads 3-4 years old.
Are they still used-current?

Astro file manager.
AKNotepad
Docs to Go
EStrong's.

Do I have to have a pile of apps -
To access stuff - to be able to attach to email?
Id just like a stand alone text app that doesnt require network to use it.
Edit at will- then add it to evernote.

Im using the S4 now vs computer- so posting here is a challenge pita actually.
You get micro window that can't move to a larger view.

As long as we're whining :)

I forgot to add-if only the phone has network access- now evernote is dead end as well.
Laptop can't move the added data.
So its down to a word document of some type that can be physically moved with no network option

Is there alternative to kies - with no limit what can be moved between device connected USB.
Maybe thats the whole issue here.

Have you checked Files Anywhere or Software Data Cable?
Obviously not - there's no current thread anywhere describing the best of -
Google Play is a joke - what comes up as apps are not in rating order - The App has to be opened to show rating - total scam - time killer.
I've been down this road for the past week of frustration - then find junk review.

Asking if tried & no input - makes it look like another mystery app.
Don't take it wrong - I make notes - to try -
If I recommend anything - it's 100% tested.

I didn't input because I haven't tried them - they were recommended to me - they are both supposed to be wireless transfer apps. My son likes the SDC one, but as I said I haven't tried them yet so I can't give you a review. Sorry.
I hear you about Google and Droid Forum, while a great place, is desperately in need of a good index and/or search function. It's very frustrating to know that you've read something somewhere, but can't find it again easily.

Thanks-
The other very huge problem-
The perfect App might be hidding in plain site-
But they name it something retarded.
Stuff Apple does-
Finder' for example-
What idiot blonde did they find, got paid for that?
