Does anyone know if PDANET works with the TBOLT?

My phone went for a swim today unfortunately, so i need to go replace the phone tomorrow, i have a Incredible which i love and have used for a year....pdanet works awesome with it, does anyone know if PDANET works with TBOLT?

Yes it does I've use it all the time. But I've had a little trouble with it ever since I installed HTC sync

As long as you don't install the HTC desktop software, it works fine

Would using PDANET bring charges from verizon for tethering? It doesn't even require root to have it

Any tethering app other than the one authorized by vzw where you pay a monthly fee is a violation of your tos and can result in fees and a you contract cancelled. With that said if you use it wisely and sparingly then they will not have any reason to look into how you are using your data. If you using it as your only source of internet and racking up large amounts of data through tethering it can cause vzw to look into it and they have legal ground to cancel your contract or charge you for the data used.

Using it once a week lightly though wouldn't cause suspicion...i already get anywhere from 1gb to 3 a month of data.

Is pdanet the best or not for tethering

I would like to hear from someone that Verizon cancelled their service because they tethered with PDA. I think that is a myth. How does Verizon come out ahead in their business model by throwing away clients who are paying them as much as $1200 a year?
