Does Your Droid Do This?

Greetings all Droid (and non) owners a like

My Droid arrived with fingerprints all over the screen protector....
but the real issue is that my Droid (this has happened twice already)
screen went completely black...home/search/menu/back buttons illuminated

while running GPS, and the basic traffic view disappeared only to show my route in BLUE.

While running DroidLive (lite) this also happened.

My only apps are Droid Live and the Donate Weather Widget.


My device arrived with the ESD56/2.01 operating system...

Should I return this for another?


One thing I did notice was that----while holding the phone vertically (up n down)
with the back button on the bottom left corner...tapping the screen in that area makes a huge clanging sound, unlike the right side where the search button is.

However the screen slides out very smooth, and not easily if that makes sense.

Just thought I'd share my experiences with you all and while these issues I feel will be sorted one way or another I, am VERY Glad to be rid of my previous BB Natural Disaster!

No, my droid does not do that. I would get a new one.

Definitely. ... return for a new one should not be doing any of that... how many droids have u gone through? It took 2 for the Big Red to get it right for me...
