I have Motorola Bionic running 4.0.4 - ICS. Can someone explain the option "Don't keep activities" under Developer Options menu? I'm not a developer but am curious. Thank you.
Don't keep activities turns your phone into a single task phone rather than being able to multi-task. In other words, if you open the browser, then hit the Home key, the browser normally stays open in the background. With this option checked, the browser will shut completely down the moment you hit the home key. Or perhaps a better way of explaining it...if you are playing music and you go to the home screen to check email, normally the music will continue. With the option checked, the music will stop the moment you hit the home key.
It will keep your phone running its fastest but will reduce functionality to that of an earlier version iPhone...yuch!
