Double beep when on a call. It is not call waiting

I am having issues with beeping when I am on a call. At first I thought it was call waiting but it happens every 10 sec. Beep beep. It is driving me crazy. The rep at verizon could not help. Please help me!!!

do you have a calendar reminder for that time? I get a call waiting like beep when a calendar reminder goes off when I am on a caal.

Is there an in call timer alert, I remember in the non-smartphone days there was a tone reminder. I haven't run into this on any of my droid phones.

Are you sure its not a text message? My phone does that...beeps when I'm in a call and I think its another call coming thru but its just a text message....any way to change that?
