Downgrading Canadian (Fido) XT910 4.1.2 to 2.3.6

Hello! I'm new here (if it wasn't obvious already ;) ), and I'm looking for information on how to downgrade my Motorola Razr back to Gingerbread.

I haven't been doing any custom ROMs or anything like that. I'm a casual user who's had enough of Ice Cream Sandwich and has had more issues with it than with Gingerbread. Upon some internet research, there are methods to do this but none of them are applicable to my device (the ones I've found are Euro/Asian devices or US Verizon devices). I haven't found a solution for my Canadian device.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

(EDIT 1: I should note that I have NO expertise with Android phones, other than using it like a regular user. I've done iPhone jailbreaks before, but I suspect this is nothing like that.)

(EDIT 2: I'm using a Windows 7 computer.)
