download notification won't go away

I downloaded Swype the other day, installed it and it's up and running. But I keep getting the message that the original file has been downloaded popping up in the notification bar. It seems to do it randomly no matter how often I clear it.

Any suggestions?

did you try battery pulling your device to restart it?

or you can go to your browser>menu>more>downloads and clearing it from there instead of the notification bar
