Downloading will not stop?

[captain howdy]

Ok I started to download a file off the internet, the download started and then no more info was being downloaded, it glitches. Any way now I have an on going download that will not stop. Any ideas on how to end this. I have shut my phone off several times so far.

Browser > More > Downloads > Select download > Cancel
