Downloads & ringtones

Downloaded a ringtone 3 times. I'ts in Browser/downloads. Trying to move it to ringtone folder and then delete the extra downloads.

The D2 comes with a files app. Use it to go to the location of the file, press and hold, menu comes up, move or cut, then go to the location you want it in, paste.

if you dont like the standard app, you can always try astro. its free from the market, and a wonderful tool to have

moving with files app

I get the copy or move part, but I'm stuck on moving it into the ringtones selection list.

You can use the music app to find the song long press on it and it will ask if you want to make it the ringtone. From that point it will stay in the list.

You can also choose it from the music source instead of system source when trying to make it a ringtone.

Notification ringtones

I can get ringtones saved for the phone but they dont show up in the notification list. Can anyone tell me how to get them added there?
