Droid 2 error and sbf fail every time! please help!

So I have the latest RSDlite but im not sure i have the right sbf file because after it gets to 99% it stops and fails and my phone says corrupted and/or error. Not to mention that i read other post to wipe cache before sbf reboot but it wont let me cause its corrupted someone please help I'm new and not sure what to do.

I would try another sbf file if possible, or look into the Linux boot CD method. Its supposed to be fool proof.

so should i go for a newer or older sbf file and where can i get one. Im doing mine on a sony vaio with windows 7.

Make sure you are using the 2.3.320 Droid 2 sbf file, and you are running RSD Lite in administrator mode.

If that fails, download 1KDS' Linux sbf CD and burn it to a disc.

You should be able to right click on the RSD Lite icon and select run as administrator.

Well, I thought there was a Linux sbf CD for Droid 2 like there is for Droidx but I was wrong. I apologize

No, the sbf file for the X is different. Its 2.3.340 instead of 2.3.320 for the Droid 2.

any other suggestions? I was trying to a really cool ROM called smoked glass and I guess for some reason it told me to put it into sbf recovery stock than the next thing i know at 99% it says fail and my phone says corrupted and im kind of freaking out since this is the first time this happend.

Use the sbf file from that site. It is TBH, so the file should be good. Follow the instructions.

No, those are the update files to get to Froyo from 2.1.

Scroll down a little and download the one where it says full sbf file. Under where it says UPDATE

Make sure you're on a 2.0 usb port
Try it on another pc if it's not working on yours (I say that because it worked for me)
If on win 7,run rsd lite as administrator (you seem good tho, cause its running already to 99%)
