Droid 2 factory reset using RSD Lite, or a similar computer-based way?

So my phone has been going in and out of bootloader, restarting randomly, and having ridiculous difficulty connecting to anything. In short, it's unusable. I've given up trying to repair it and just want to reset it, unfortunately the phone is dorking out so much the factory reset option doesn't respond.

Can someone point me in the right direction for a (relatively) easy way to reset the phone from RSD Lite, similar programs, etc from the computer? I don't want to root it or anything, i just want to reinstall the stock OS.
