Droid 2 gingerbread + Light flow app issues

So I have the zombiestomped rom and since upgrading to 1.71 I haven't been able to get the LED to work properly. I have tried doing a complete wipe, reflashing the phone, factory reset all which don't seem to fix the problem. Now before anyone says that the LED might be broke if I use a LED tester it works with no issues stays on, fine blinks fine, but when it comes to me using an app for it nothing seems to work. I have tried Light flow which is what used to work on 1.65, blink, and then I tried using Go sms and handcents built in notifications. I don't know what im missing or perhaps what setting I could have wrong in the apps to make them not work .
