Droid 2 Global Camera Issue?

I recently noticed that when I try to take a picture with my Droid's camera, whether it be the original or an app, if I have flash on the flash isn't synced with the camera. My camera takes the picture AFTER the flash, so my pictures always come out dark.
I heard installing Camera 360 had something to do with this, and now I just want to know how I can fix this. Any suggestions?

since the last major update 2.3.3, 4.5.608.a956, my picture display after taking the picture is about 1 second and i cannot find where to set it as i had before the update. any help?

With the camera app open, I forget which side, but try swiping the black area on the left/right bottom inwards for settings. Sorry, it's been a while.
