Droid 2 Global headset/handsfree

I am looking for a headset for my Droid 2 Global. Most important to me is phone sound quality. I want to be able to hear the person I am speaking to and for them to here me clearly. In the past most of the complaints were from the person hearing me on the otherside. Years ago the best headset I had was a belikin that had the microphone on a flex cable that came to the front of my mouth. I think I have it away with my phone Motorola 710 three phones ago. This will primarly be used in a moving vehicle and if something like the BlueParrott B250-XT is the best out there I do not mind looking like a dork while driving. I would like to go with a Motrola headset only because I think it has a better chance of working the Droid but it does not have to be that way.

If it helps or give me more options I have a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB and would not mind buying the CD-BTB200 if that makes sense It would be nice to play my music and or books from the Droid but not a requiremnet since I already have an Ipod hooked up to my Pioneer

Personally I use the H17TXT and 90% of people never even know I'm on a BT Headset. On top of that, if you "don't" install the Motorola app it does all the voice commands including search and speach to txt.

Does anyone have any experince with the Pioneer CD-BTB200 and the Droid I send an email to Pioneer and they came back saying that they did not have a list of compatible phones.

The CD-BTB200 is about $142 so I am not that far away of buying a new head unit if it makes sense but it will need to be a pioneer that has the BT built in and the IP bus so I can use my CD changer and Sirus that is already contected. They all seem to have the Ipod now. guessing number would have to be along the lines of DEH-P????BT

While not a direct answer to your question, this may help. See Droid 2 Headset Secrets Revealed! for info on how to build a headset adapter that will allow you to use any good quality 2.5mm telephone headset with the Droid 2 Global. If you aren't into building this yourself, at least you have the info on what to look for in an adapter.

I've used just the headphone jack and my music and such works thru my d2g. I had my phone on my lap or in ny center conole and the mid worked just fine. As for.the bt adapter and adapters in general it should work for your music pandora and calls as far as I kno you can't use a nav app or anything with those yet.

I've played with alot of car audio equipment lol

Actually, if it registers as "Stereo" it should accept Google Nav through it.

My Motorola headset gives me Nav through it.
