droid 2 global help plz

hey well to start guys if i put this in wrong section im sorry just please move without flaming me. ok on to what i need help with.. Ok i have the droid 2 global, i liked it, it was doing fine but now its being retarded, i wanna drop kick it to the moon now. Ok i sent txt messages (yes with services) (no pic messages) and they will send out but i will not receive my friends or gf when they txt me back UNLESS i cut off my phone or put it in airplane mode off and back on to refresh signal then they will come in but as soon as i reply to the txt it doesnt give me the next received unless i refresh again, i am using handcent app to txt if some dont know its only to customize my txts so i do txt normally i have unlimited txting please help!
