OG Droid broke :( , so I bought new phone for my gf and took her D2G.

All the bloatware sucks, but even worse I'm having a problem where quite frequently the other party can't hear me. Seems to happen after 2 or 3 minutes into a call. Sometimes it will start working again, but sometimes I have to hang up and call back. It will work fine when I call back. I've done the *228 thing. I've done soft reboots. I've pulled the battery and held the power button for 15 seconds. No luck.

My girlfriend never had this problem when she was using the D2G, so it's tough to blame it on the hardware.

I did take the SD Card from my old OG Droid and put it in the new D2G. I suppose that's the next thing I can test, but I wouldn't think that would cause the problem.

Any other suggestions?

factory reset, flash SBF and/or reformat sd card
what system version 4.5.629?
size (8gb)and class (2,4,...) of sd card?

I've put in the original SD Card that came with the Droid 2 Global. I reformatted the SD card and did a factory reset.
It's an 8GB SD Card, Class 2.
Android Version 2.3.4
System Version 4.5.629.A956.Verizon.en.US
Build number 4.5.1_57_D2GA-59

Still acting flaky. Additional symptoms:
1) Sometimes I take a picture, but it shows up as black in the "camera roll." Rebooting will fix this for future pictures, but the black pictures are still black.
2) During turn by turn navigation, sometimes it turns all black with just the blue NAV arrow up at the top of the screen. Locks up to the point that I need to do a battery pull.

This phone has never been rooted, only received OTA updates.

I'm about to give up on it and get a new phone. This is kinda frustrating cause I don't really need a newer phone... just a phone that works.

It really really really makes me miss my Original Droid, cause it was clean, simple, and just worked.
