Droid 2 Global Superuser present but not working.

So I updated my D2G to Gingerbread 2.3.3. My phonewas peviously rooted using Z4root and now after trying to reformat and such, I cant get superuser permissions to activate on my phone. The app exists in the app menu and opens fine but none of my apps recognise it as being rooted. I have tryied to unroot and reroot using SuperOneClick and Pete's Motorola Root Tools but my phone will never show up in them. Even after making sure that USB Debugging is enabled and my drivers were updated, I still couldn't get it to work. Then I tried using Gingerbreak but every time I try that, it just keeps saying running exploit for hours. If any one has any clue as to how I can root my D2G, please reply.

Use Pete's Motorola Root Tools or any other One Click Root implementation.

Oh nevermind. I finally got it to work with petes method! I forgot to change it to charge only.
