Droid 2 Motorola Widgets TOP Energy Drain

In experimenting with getting the best battery life, I discovered a BIG suck on my Droid 2's battery. The Moto widgets.

Many times I have gone into Battery Manager and discovered that the Motorola Widget Service had the TOP battery usage even using more battery than THE SCREEN! Anyone else seen this??

I don't see any unusually large drain except for the screen on my Droid 2. What Moto widgets are you running?

Same here, the screen is almost always at the top of the list. Once voice calls were.

Totally normal for the display to be to top battery user. I find wifi is usually next.

Just Facebook, Twitter and the weather. It's not as bad with the rom update and changing to Maximum Battery Mode seems to slow the updates and hence the amount of power they use down.
