Droid 2 phone , random reboots, will not stay turned off

Having a serious problem with random reboots and a powered down phone turning back on by itself. Not good on an air flight. Here is tech info: Model, Droid2 Global, System 4.5.607.A956. Verizon.en.us.

my pro did this for a couple weeks and then quit, so i'm not sure why it was doing it.

maybe try a factory reset?
