Droid 2 powers self off

Droid 2 powers off on own. Sometimes it powers self on, at other times I need to remove battery. Any thoughts.

Has it always done this or has it started doing this after the installation of new apps?

You do not have to remove the battery, shift+alt+delete will reboot it.

My Droid has always occasionally and randomly powered off. It may be doing it more. Thanks for the reboot trick. Lynda

Mine did it for the first time yesterday, I opened the keyboard to respond to a text and it shut off. Had to remove the battery to get it to power on.
