Droid 2 ringtone and media volume stuck at zero

A couple days ago I noticed that my phone wasn't ringing. The ringtone volume and media volume are both at zero, and I can't change them neither with the volume rocker nor through the settings. Has anyone else had had this issue? I have a Droid 2 on the verizon network.

Try clearing your cache in settings. Otherwise you might have to do a factory reset. Had you installed any new apps before this happened?
