Droid 2 stuck at droid eye animation.

Ok so own not tech at all! Lol I went to India and when I came back I can't get past the Droid eye animation it just keeps looping. So I tried the x plus power button and get the little Android with the exclamation point but nothing happens when i push the volume up and camera keys. Come to find out my friend rooted and then flashed an and whatever that is and now its not working. Any thoughts?

When you get to the triangle with the! Press the search button. You can then navigate. But first, did you try to get into clockwork to restore a backup first? Try a battery pull (while plugged in, then unplug and reboot with the battery) If that is a no go, try the stock recovery thing mentioned at the beginning of this post. If it still doesn't work, you'll need to sbf my friend. I'm sure you learned how to do an sbf before modifying anything on your phone right?

That's just the thing. I didn't do anything to it so I don't know. My friend who did it while I was in India won't pick up. Tried the search thing and didn't work. Tried battery pull and didn't work. How do I do the final thing suggested with and?

Ok so Downloaded everything and followed the directions and its still stuck at the eye. I did the sbf method it didnt work. So i tried it again and it still didnt work. Any other ideas?

If you did the sbf and it went to 100%in rsd lite and it reboots to the eye, you need to do a factory reset in stock recovery (blue text, Triangle with!) Hit the search key once there to get the menu and scroll to wipe. That should get you back. If not you're doing something wrong. No offense

None taken lol like I said not techy. Anyway I can get to the part where there is a little droid with a triangle and ! but there is no blue text. Also when I hit the search button (magnafying glass) nothing happens. Usually those four buttons are lit up (the three next to and including the magnafying glass) but they are not lit when I try and hit the search button. Any other ideas lol

did you hit the magnifying glass on the keyboard ?
