Not everyone is having that problem. I have no problems whatsoever playing my mp4 or avi files after the update.

I have this same damn problem. Took it back to Verizon, they fedexed me a new phone with the update already on it, still wont play videos. Stock Gallery, RockPlayer, nothing.. ArcMedia plays it but the audio is all out of synch and is crap. Some other poster said that there's codecs missing out of the system library once the update went out.

Thats probably why ArcMedia works as it brings codecs with it, but its just a crappy player.

can i get a bump? this needs to be seen be seen by android, and the need to test their "updates" befor their released.

just a note i did return my phone to verizon and after some dodgy and horrible customer support i got a new one with v2.2 thank god and now my videos play as they did before
