Droid 3 aokp ics issues installing

I have just wiped everyting completly clean on my phone and flashed the stock rom to it. i then rooted it and installed safestrap and clockworkmod recovery. after this i downloaded aokp from hash of codes and installed it following a youtube video to the letter and all i get is a black screen i am in safe system. I need help!

same thing happened to me. it used to be with every rom i tried to flash but once i flashed a kexec rom it finally started working for a few different roms.
