Droid 4 and lapdock 100.

I bought my wife the lapdock 100 to go with her Droid 4 but every time she plugs it in it makes the phone "Extremely" hot! I have the Droid Razr and it doesn't do my phone that way. Anyone else have this issue?

With atrix lapdock the droid4 works fine.
How hot is it? On lapdock the droid4 is charging and it's a little hot, but the same as on charger.

i have the same issue at times with the 500 i dont think it is anything to be to concerned about and i think that was one of the things they were trying to fix with the ics update

I use the ics leak and it' s normally. The webtop mode in ics leak is another as in gingerbread

It's hot enough to make your leg start to burn ( it's in a case so it doesn't fit in the holder) and that's through the case that it's in. I use my RAZR with it and never have a problem but her DROID 4 gets so hot that the battery wont charge. And this is all within 15/20 minutes of being plugged in. Ordered a new one that will be here today so I'm going to see how it works with that one. Thanks for the comments.

On ics leak the droid4 isn't hot in webtop mode. Ics leak have webtop mode 3.0 and gingerbread another version. This issue is only with gingerbread.

now that makes sense ! thats kinda what it thought would happen i bet it charges better in the webtop dock.
