droid a855 slider broken off

ok so my friend threw her android by accident. lol i don't know how stupid that sounds. but yeah she did it. the slider broke of. the ribbon that attaches to the motherboard from the screen is broke in half. she said she would have to pay full price to get another one. just trying to help out a friend. please if you know where to get the item i need. let me know. i can fix anything i can put my hands on.

Wow ... I guess you could try eBay? You'll probably just end up buying a new Droid in general, though.

It amazes me with the prices of phones these days (retail) that people will do such things to them!

I also have friends that have (or do) done this... They are always wondering why the heck their phones are always crapping out on them, ... sometimes I just want to shake people. HELLO! I've seen them throw, bounce, drop, and then when their flips start to crack they can't keep their paws off them until they physically DO crack off!
