Droid and Windows Movie Maker

If i record video on my droid, import it to my computer, will it be abled to be edited on windows movie maker right away?

I made a video into Movies Window Maker the other day. I don't think it goes straight to it. I put the video into a converter that changed it to an AVI, then put into WMM
