i keep seeing these codes online for applications in the markets, but dont know how to get them on my phone. i think you have to take a picture of the code but then what? do you just take the picture with your camera?

please help.

You need a QR reader. I recommend Barcode Scanner (from the Market)
Use the scanner to take a picture of the codes you see on your PC (with your Droid) and your Droid will automatically open up that application in the Market!!!

You're welcome. Glad you got it working :)
The codes do make it nice to quickly get to an app.

There is also Androlib.com
You can search the Market via your PC, read up on apps, and their is a QR code on the webpage for each app... so when you find one you like, you can scan it and immediately go to it on your Droid!

If you're using Firefox, then you might also want to check out the Mobile Barcoder add-on. It adds an icon to the bottom of your browser that will generate a barcode link to your current web page when you hover over it.
