droid bricked?

My droid is dead, I'm not sure if it had anything to do with eclipse or not. Should I return it as warranty replacement or will that get me in trouble because it was rooted? Run the oneclick pathsaver script with the runmebbb.bat fix and will return everything to stock. Then update to 893 and then 901 if you like. This is just the easiest way. If I can find the links ill post them.
