Droid connect to Exchange 2003, only one server...

I have been trying to connect my Droid to Exchange 2003 SP2, but I get an ActiveSync error. I only have one Exchange server, no front or back-end servers. I read on a post that if you only have one Exchange server then you will need to add a second owa site and then configure it. Is it safe to configure a second owa site that will not require SSL authentication?

to be honest, if you're trying to connect to your exchange server download the app exchange by touchdown from the market place and call it a day. it's not free, but there's a trial period to determine if it's worth it for you.
