Droid Incredible 2 "popping" and "buzzing" noise

I purchased a Droid Incredible 2 to BYOD to Straight Talk. Everything about the phone works wonderfully with the exception of sound. When a sound is made on the phone, there is a pop followed by a buzzing sound for three to four seconds followed by another pop - then silence. It makes this sound on the rear speaker and if headphones are plugged in. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks!
