Droid incredible shutting itself off???

Hello all, im new to the site and was hoping someone could help me out with this. I have a Droid Incredible, and whenever I am doing various things, my phone will shut off on its own. And now, once it cuts itself off, it comes back on and it keeps turning itself back off and back on without booting up completly. My battery is charged at least halfway when this is happening. I have no idea what is going on... Is anyone else having this problem and if so what can I do to stop it??? Thanks.

It sounds like out have a faulty device. If I was out I contact Verizon for warranty exchange

thats what i was thinking... I just wasn't sure if it was something that was happening with other people's phones as well. Thanks for the reply!!
