Droid Management Interface

Is or will there ever be a nice management interface for the Android/Droid phones (something like Itunes for Iphones). I would like to have a nice piece of software where I can backup my apps and stuff, and possibly program the phone and change settings from within windows.

Motorola Media Link is the manufacturer-approved product. Other people think highly of Songbird+FolderSync, but I haven't tried it.
