Droid Music player and notifications

Currently I am listening to music with the music player on the droid (default app(not sure if there is a better one out there, if so tell me please )

When I get a text or email, the music stops for a second and continues, is there any way to change that? Like to just a sound or something?

I don't know... but this problem bugs me too. Just though I'd post, the more people who have the same problem, the more attention it usually gets.

I'm hoping there's an update for this... soon, as well as the crackling problem with audio above 80%.

I'm experiencing the same frustration. I didn't see a "notifications" choice in the Music app.

I'm hoping there's a way to disable notifications other than a call coming in somehow. I'd also like the ringing volume not to scare the living crap out of me while listening to music on headphones.

Haha you all beat me too it. I will add that I am listen to pandora and it was happeing I hate it!! How please do we fix that?
