Brand new Droid X owner and hoping to become a believer that the Droid is better than the iPhone. Don't get AT&T service so not many options. Not having much luck with email but the rest of the experience is going well

K9 mail in the market may work better for email if the stock email programs are not working or dont have what you need.

Check out some home launcher replacements like launcher pro and adw.launcher. They give you more options than the stock interface and are customizable.

Astro is a good file explorer.

Gtask is a todo list that syncs to your gmail acct
