Droid not accepting charge through car charger.

Like title says. I have a Redfish one but when it's plugged in it charges for a second then stops. It goes back and fourth between charging and not quite rapidly while it's plugged in. The red light on the charger is lit up solid the whole time.

I went a bought a verizon one. The red light to show its working stays on, but the phone doesn't charge at all.

I doubt its my car since the red light on the chargers both light up and the fuse is good. Any ideas?

You'd need the proper equipment to truly verify that your power outlet isn't the problem. It takes very little to light an LED. Certainly nowhere near what you need to charge.

If you don't have a multimeter or other testing equipment, try the chargers in another car.
