'Droid' notification sound, distorted

For some reason when my phone's screen is off and facing up, completely flat, sometimes tye notification sound 'droid' will not sound as friendly as it is. I have noticed that it will sound almost demonic, distorted, or much more electronic then normal. I have heard this and my girlftiend has as well, this happened two times in the past day, one for a text message as well as one for a voicemail, now this has also happened on my droid 2 global as well. This bionic is a new phone so i do not think it would be a speaker problem as i have read in a nother fourm post. I was wondering if anyone else has heard this before, and if there is any way to fix it.

I get this as well.

Has happened with my bionic and happened with my og DROID too. As far as I know there is no fix. Just a glitch we have to live with.
