Droid on another network..SMS problems

Hi all..I have my droid on pocket wireless unlimited plan..everything works great..well the internet is only 1x..boo...but talk/mms works great..only problem Im having is with sms from certain people. My question is ..is there a way to edit the sms settings somewhere in the system...I know theres a file I can change the MMS settings..but i just open voice dilar and say open apns and I can change it from there and get MMS working. No problems at all with getting and sending MMS...just seems to be SMS troubles. Thanks any help is appreciated....For now at least I can use google voice for those that cannot send me SMS dancedroid.

BTW ..I have no problems sending sms...everyone gets my text messages...only problem is getting them from only certain numbers I guess.

Go into the messaging app and press the menu soft key, then press settings, if that's what you're asking.
