Droid Razr ICS OTA Flash Player

Ok, so yeay yeah I know official flash player support is pretty much gone. Unfortunately this helps Nobody and apparently there are ALOT of people that need a working flash player. Would ANYBODY that knows code or writes apps be willing to create a modded version of the flash 11 apk so that we can get a working player for embedded videos? This is a one of the key reasons most of us have android phones in the 1st place. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not for a bunch of people. Mostly all embedded videos from random sites. Youtube and similar sites still work because it'll fall back to using html 5 for them.

ICS melted my hopes away

I really thought ICS will be great but with flash crashing every page I load in every browser I have, my phone became a nightmare. And the bad thing is everyone was like new unlock thing and new this and that. nobody said u can't view web pages no more with the ICS update.

funny thing is that my browser can see the test page adobe has up. flash on that page loads... but if I want to watch some news channel website it gets my browser stuck and have to kill it.

I'm having the same problems with my news feeds as well. This really pisses me off, b/c how much I love using my pulse news app!!

Even with YouTube working, it still isn't that great of a picture as it is when its being played through flash. Has anyone gotten their flash to work yet or found another app that will do the same thing and as well as adobe's flash player. Seems all u can find, is flash apps that can only play swf files after they have been DL to the SD card and I want something that can view the videos from within the browser.

Thanks in advance for the help if someone is able to point me in the right direction.

THANKS TO s36x on Motorola Owners Forum.... FLASH seems to work in 'Dolphin Browser' if you go to [settings] [user agent] and change to [iphone]

You know, I have been having a lot of luck with flash working with dolphin and boat browser. It seems that I have been having a lot of issues with the stock browser, and not just with flash. I've been losing connection on and off a lot with stock and with dolphin, it seems like I don't drop the connection at all. So maybe it's issues with the browser??

Fyi,
Setting dolphin to iphone or android mode just loads the mobile version of websites instead of the full desktop version. This will allow u to watch videos on many sites but thats only because the mobile versions of these sites use html5 formatted videos instead of flash wbich is still used on the desktop version of the site. So it can be a good fix to allow u to watch videos within the browser but keep in mind u will connected to the mobile version of the site and if the video works its only because it is html5 encoded, not flash
