As usual, the amazing devs in our Android community have done the impossible! Previously, the OTA Android 4.1/Jelly Bean update for the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX were called, "unrootable." Of course, when good devs, like Dan Rosenberg, see this word, they reply with "challenge accepted." The OTA Jelly Bean update for the Droid RAZR has been rooted, and the method is remarkably simple, only requiring you to connect the phone and run a .bat file. This may be a silly question, but does this apply to the HD as well?

Nope. I've been told that no one is working on rooting jellybean on the HD because root can be accomplished by going back to ICS, rooting, protect root and then update to jellybean.
 
i might have to upgrade my phone to JB now ..
 
why would you use foxfi on a rooted device? the whole point of the app is to provide tethering for non rooted phones. once you're rooted just use wireless tether.
