Yes, download the RazrUtility 1.8 or 1.81 contained in a thread just below this one. Select option 2. After you have downloaded the utility, extract the .zip to its own folder on your c:\\, do not try to run the .bat from within the .zip...it usually won't work on a windows machine. Also, make sure you have the Moto drivers installed on your computer before running the utility. When you hook your phone up to your computer your computer should automatically download and install the drivers.Just recently updated to 4.0.4 on my razr. Anyway to root?
Thanx! Do you have the link for the Motorola drivers?
When you connect your phone to your computer (make sure you've selected debugging) and anything except mass storage under usb connections, your computer should automatically load and install the drives included in the utility. If it doesn't go here:https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_detail/a_id/78662/p/30,6720,8417Thanx! Do you have the link for the Motorola drivers?
Whats the bug? I used 1.8 and haven't noticed anythingThere is a bug with 1.8...Please download matt's 1.81 utility, it's big I know but it has the latest drivers and everything in it.
I think the "bug" is a problem with the new Moto drivers. They work for some but don't work for others. 1.81 has a set of drivers included that seem to work for everyone.Whats the bug? I used 1.8 and haven't noticed anything
